POLICE APPEAL FOR HELP LOCATING MISSING BELMONT MAN

Concerns are held for a man who went missing from his home in Belmont on Tuesday.

About 10 o’clock on Tueday morning, Carl DeJager left his home on Redrose Avenue in a silver 2004 Ford Territory station wagon.

Police were notified when he failed to return, and commenced a search.

Mr DeJager, 35, is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 175cm tall, slim build, and with brown eyes and brown short hair.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, and black tracksuit pants. The tracksuit pants have a rhino motif with white and red writing on the right leg. He was also wearing a pair of black and white skate shoes.

Police are concerned for Mr DeJager’s welfare, as his disappearance is out of character.

Anyone who has knowledge of Mr DeJager’s whereabouts is urged to contact police.
