NSW Police have launched an investigation into allegations of match fixing in the NRL.
Strike Force Nuralda is expected to determine if any criminal offences have been committed.
The investigation is expected to be protracted, with dozens of players, officials and members of the community expected to be interviewed in the coming months.
Police say they’ll work closely with the state’s Crime Commission and that they have the full support of the NRL.
