NOMADS MAKE IT FIVE IN ROW

The New England Nomads have made it five titles in a row, dominating yesterday’s Tamworth AFL grand final.
Despite a sluggish start, the home side eventually cruised home against the Tamworth Kangaroos.
Harry Wakefield kicked the first goal for the Nomads early on…But the Roos were quick to respond with Jamie Williams proving accurate minutes later.
The visitors kept up with the defending premiers during the first quarter, to trail by just two at the break.
But the Nomads hit their straps in the second – forward Dave Richards kicking six goals before halftime.
New England going on to a 92-point victory.
