MAN CHARGED AFTER THREATENING GUNNEDAH PATRONS WITH A FIREARM

A man has been charged after allegedly threatening patrons at a licensed premises with a firearm in the north west earlier this week.
According to police, a 41-year-old man attended a licensed premises on Black Stump Way in Mullaley, near Gunnedah, on Thursday, when he allegedly carried out the threats before fleeing the scene.
Following investigations, police arrested the man later the same day.
He was later charged with a number of offences including two counts of possessing a loaded firearm in public, armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, and aggravated entering of a dwelling with intent while armed.
