- Firefighters are still trying to get the upper hand on a large blaze which has destroyed homes and blackened tens of thousands of hectares of land near Dunedoo.
- And a Great White Shark thought to be around four metres long has been caught on camera in Lake Macquarie by two fishermen after it snagged their lines near Swansea Channel.
