SOURCE OF INFECTION UNKNOWN FOR THREE COVID-19 CASES IN TAREE

Meanwhile at Taree, coronavirus tests are ramping up, after the source of the infection for three local cases is unknown.

The ‘screening blitz’ will help identify any clusters early within the community.

The drive-through testing clinic at Manning Hospital opened earlier this week, with 35 cases confirmed in the MidCoast Council region.

The health district advises residents with a fever or onset respiratory symptoms to contact the COVID-19 clinic.
