Two teenagers will face court today, charged over several alleged robberies and a pursuit near Newcastle.
Police were responding to an alleged break-in at Maryland late yesterday afternoon, when they spotted a stolen Suzuki on Minmi Road, which was seen leaving the break-in.
Officers chased the vehicle before it crashed into another car on Newcastle Road at Jesmond.
Two males allegedly tried to run from the scene, but were arrested a short time later.
Police allege the pair was involved in two attempted robberies at Kotara and Jesmond yesterday, a robbery at Gosford in August, as well as a stealing and intimidation incident at Maryland.
The 18-year-old man and 17-year-old boy have been charged with a string of offences.
