MECHANICAL FAILURE FORCES MATT HALL OUT OF FINAL ROUND OF RED BULL AIR RACE CHAMPIONSHIP

Merewether’s Matt Hall has been forced out of the final round of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Las Vegas, after his team discovered a mechanical issue with his aircraft during preparations.

The problem could not be rectified in time for the race this weekend.

Matt’s result will be recorded as a Did Not Start (DNS), meaning no points will be added to his season total.

However, Matt cemented 2nd place on the world championship podium with 55.75 points after finishing 4th in the previous round at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The team will now turn their attention to the 2017 season.
