A collision between a scooter and a 4WD has claimed the life of a woman in the state’s north yesterday.
Shortly after 4pm on Thursday, a 32-year-old woman was riding a Suzuki scooter along Armidale Road towards Coutts Crossing, south of Grafton.
The scooter collided with a Mitsubishi Pajero about 1km south of the intersection of McPherson’s Crossing Road.
The rider died at the scene.
The 54-year-old male driver of the Mitsubishi was uninjured. He was taken to hospital for mandatory testing. Three other passengers in the Mitsubishi were also uninjured.
