It was a noisy afternoon on Lake Macquarie today, with the pole position shootout in round 4 of the Offshore superboat championships getting underway just off Marmong Point.
In the Outboard class, Phantom finished first followed by 88 Gold Coast City Marina and Marine Crawley in third.
222 finished on top of the in board class.
The action continues tomorrow with race one at 11 and race 2 at 1pm.
