MAN AND WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN TAMWORTH

The bodies of a 67-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman have been found at a Tamworth address last night.

It’s believed they were a married couple.

Police forced their way into the Bailey Avenue house after concerns were raised about the pair’s welfare.

Officers also found a firearm.

No one else is being sought in relation to the incident.

“A tragic circumstance when anyone is found deceased, particularly members of our local community. So I ask though if anyone does have any information and have not yet spoken to our officers, please contact Tamworth detectives,” said Chief Inspector Phil O’Reilly.
