Kyogle motocross star Dean Ferris has jumped to second in the Australian Supercross Championship standings, following his round four win in Melbourne.
Ferris fended of Yamaha teammate Dan Reardon by 3.98 seconds to win the round.
Despite the win, he remains 9 points behind championship leader Justin Brayton.
