LIFEGUARD PATROLS TO STOP ON SOUTH BALLINA BEACH

Ballina Shire Council has ordered an end to lifeguard patrols on South Ballina Beach after this season.

Lifeguards say the beach is one of the most dangerous on the Far North Coast, but council wants them to focus on more popular areas.
