A 36-year-old man has been charged with the alleged sexual abuse of a teenager in Newcastle.
Police launched an investigation last month into allegations of sexual abuse against the teenage boy at an out-of-home care facility.
Investigations led police to execute a search warrant at a property in New Lambton about 8.30am yesterday. Shortly after, a man was arrested at an office in Charlestown.
He was later charged with aggravated indecent assault, and aggravated sexual assault.
