A South Tamworth home has been destroyed by fire this afternoon.
Four local Fire and Rescue New South Wales crews were called to Oak Street at around 1 o’clock and found the property well alight.
It took an hour to extinguish the flames, with neighbouring residents taking to their roofs to hose down their homes as a precaution.
Thankfully no one was injured, police are now investigating the cause.
