The Mariners have confirmed they’ve released 19-year-old goalkeeper Tom Heward-Belle, effective immediately, so he can focus on his studies.
It comes as number one shot-stopper Paul Izzo says the club wants to make a statement, when it takes on the Wanderers on Saturday.
