Long-serving Councillor in Ashford and Inverell, Barry Johnston has passed away this week, aged 82.
Having first been elected in 1974, he only stepped down this year.
Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall paid tribute to him, referring to Johnston as ‘Mr Inverell’.
