A 26-year-old man will face Wyong Local Court today, accused of stabbing another man in the neck and head.
The man was travelling in a car with a 34-year-old man and two other women on Wyong Road at Kanwal on Monday, when they got into an argument.
It’s alleged the younger man produced a knife and stabbed the older man about six times in the neck and head.
The car was stopped and the injured man was later airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
The accused was arrested at a caravan park at Freemans Waterhole yesterday, he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
