To NRRRL, and Northern United have posted their fifth straight victory, after taking down Lower Clarence 40 points to 30 yesterday.
The Dirrawongs snared first blood and crossed three times in the first half.
But a determined Lower Clarence posted some nifty tries of their own to go into the break just four points behind.
The Magpies then stole the lead for a fleeting moment in the second, before Northern United took it back and powered ahead for a 10 point victory.
“Struggled a bit there, Lower came to play, made a few mistakes today, but luckily we came away with the two points”
The loss,disappointing for Lower Clarence who have yet to win a game this season.
“They turn up week in week out, do the hard yards and unfortunately we haven’t come away with result yet”
