TORONTO RECOVER AFTER DISASTROUS START

Just three out of six games got started in Newcastle Cricket today, with Belmont scoring 23 runs, one of the lowest totals in competition history.

Rivals Stockton-Raymond Terrace are 8 for 70 in their second innings.

The clash between Cardiff-Boolaroo and Wests hangs in the balance, while Toronto is in a strong position against Uni.

Toronto was struggling early, at one stage sitting at 4 for 23.

The combination of Logan Johnston and Andrew Jeffries survived a scare, but recovered to post 77 and 95 respectively, as the side finished at 6 for 221.
