SEPARATE CASES OF MENINGOCOCCAL HIT THE CENTRAL COAST

A 21-year-old man is in a stable condition, while a 52 year old woman has been transferred to a Sydney hospital, following two separate cases of meningococcal on the Central Coast.
Last year there were four cases of meningococcal disease in the region.
The Local Health District is warning that not all of the symptoms of the disease may be present at once and to be wary of its symptoms including rashes and fever.
