The spirit of Newcastle’s old Santa Pub Crawl has been revived, but this time with a family friendly feel.
On Sunday, thousands of people dressed as Santas are expected to hit the streets right around Australia, for the Santa Stroll.
It’s a fundraiser for Variety, the children’s charity.
Several hundred Santa suits have been rushed to Newcastle for its leg, which sets out along the harbour foreshore at 10.30 Sunday morning, before finishing at The Brewery.
