LOCAL MEMBER TO SIT DOWN WITH TAMWORTH PARAMEDICS

Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson says he’s open to meeting with local paramedics to discuss much needed improvements to Tamworth Ambulance Station.
It comes after reports citing concerns about staff numbers, transport and the location of the main station in Marius Street.
However he says he’s yet to be formally approached by the Paramedics Association for a meeting.
“As soon as we can get together and they can formally put those concerns to me, I’m very happy to run it up to the health minister and try to get them sorted.”
Issues with the Gunnedah station will also be up for discussion.
