COUNTRY WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION SPONSORS DOLLY PARTON PROGRAM

The Country Women’s Association is helping Tamworth children learn how to read.

It’s sponsoring the Dolly Parton Imagination library, which hands out free books to more than 1000 kids across the region.

“Every month we’ve got 80 new children joining the program so we’re so grateful for our sponsors.”

“We also love the fact that it’s local, we love that a lot of the books are Australian, a lot of the books are indigenous. There is a lot of multicultural books and some of Dolly’s own books as well so it’s a really fun opportunity.”
