Tamworth Council is on the hunt for some ‘drop bear’ thieves after the unique street sign was stolen over the weekend.
Drop Bear Lane was officially unveiled in Upper Moore Creek last Wednesday – council using special bolts and a taller pole for added security.
It’s believed the sign was taken in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Council says a replacement will be soon organised along with other security measures.
