STAR JUNIORS ON DISPLAY

Northern New South Wales Football’s most talented juniors will be pitted against each other, across two days of matches in Armidale this weekend.

Part of the region’s ‘Skill Acquisition Program’, the Country Gala Days allow players to put months of training into practice.

However the hosts squads may be going in a little underdone…

“They’ve been doing really well. Obviously the hot weather knocked us around a little bit. We actually missed three or four training sessions so far. So, perhaps, we are a little bit behind some of the other zones.”

Matches get underway at 11am at SportUNE.
