CENTRAL COAST COUNCIL LEADER CLAIMS TOP GONG

It’s been an International Women’s Day to remember for one Central Coast Council worker.
Julie Vaughan was today recognised with a State Award for female leadership in local government.
The accolade tops off a huge twelve months for Ms Vaughn – she was one of the major drivers behind the Wyong Art House, which officially opened last year.
“these awards are a great opportunity to be recognised but it’s not the real reason for why I do my job and on a day like International Women’s Day important to recognise all women and the fantastic women I work with here at Central Coast Council,” Ms Vaughn said.
As for her next big project – Ms Vaughn says next she’ll focus on developing the Gosford Performing Arts precinct.
