STATE GOVERNMENT RAMPS UP QUAD BIKE REBATES

Farmers in New South Wales can now receive increased rebates when buying quad bikes.
They will now receive $1,000 for a side-by-side vehicle, up to $500 to improve safety features on an existing bike and a $90 rebate for purchasing an approved helmet.
The state government has also waived the capped limit, meaning farmers can now apply for two rebates if they are buying two vehicles.
In response, the Opposition has renewed its call for an urgent summit into quad bike safety to prevent further tragedies on rural properties.
