MID COAST HELPERS THANKED FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTION

Member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey has thanked some Big hearted volunteers for more than a hundred thousand hours of service to the mid north coast’s hospitals and health centres today.
Around 60 volunteers from the United Hospital Auxillaries celebrated their good work at the Bowraville Recreation Club.
“Better known to some of the community as the ‘pink ladies’, they’re the angels within our health system. In this region alone, they’ve raised $514,000 last year.”
The money funds much needed equipment in public hospitals from Wauchope to Coffs Harbour.
