After a big dose of rain in the past 48 hours, Saturday’s scheduled Group 19 rugby league matches in Inverell have been cancelled.
With more wet weather forecast for the weekend, an early decision was made because of the distance players would have to travel.
All clubs were due to play, with the day intended to serve as the competition’s representative trials.
The committee is expected to announce an alternative shortly.
