Today another band of showers moved across northern NSW.
The good news is it should clear taking the majority of the rain with it.
The weekend is expected to get off to a fine start with plenty of sunny breaks for most of the region.
Towards the end of the day more wet weather will close in on the Central Coast and Hunter.
That system will move north over night clearing from the Greater Hunter region.
For northern NSW Sunday will be another day of widespread shower development.
