VICTIM PUNCHED IN THE FACE DURING ATTEMPTED HOLD UP
A man was punched in the face during an attempted hold up near Maitland overnight.
Shortly before 9pm, a 24-year-old was walking across the Telarah Oval, when he was approached by an unknown man.
The man demanded cash, before punching the 24-year-old to the face.
The victim ran from the scene and contacted police.
The man is described as being aged in his early 20’s, of thin build, and approximately 175cm tall.
He was last seen wearing black shorts and no shirt.
