A motorcyclist has died, following a crash on a notorious stretch of road in the Upper Hunter.
Emergency services were called to a section of Putty Road, about 45-kilometres south of Singleton, at around 9:30 this morning.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man – believed to be aged in his 40s – died at the scene.
Any witnesses are urged to come forward.
