TWO TEENS FACE CHARGES OVER ALLEGED GOLD COAST STABBING
Charges have been laid after man, that interrupted three people allegedly breaking into cars, was stabbed on the Gold Coast.
Police say that around 4am on Wednesday, the 45-year-old was on Monterey Keys and Lake Shore Drives in Helensvale, when he came upon the group.
After chasing them, a fight broke out, where he received a wound to his throat.
Two of the group members fled, but a 15-year-old girl was detained by the man at the scene.
Police later charged a 17-year-old Southport man with four counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence. A 15-year-old boy has also been charged over the alleged wounding of the 45-year-old man.
The victim was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
