Roads are seeing some heavy traffic conditions as holiday-makers head home after the long weekend.
Live Traffic NSW has issued the following traffic alerts for our region:
At Woodburn in the far north, traffic is heavy in both directions on the Pacific Highway. Northbound: Allow approximately 25-30 minutes extra travel time (9km queue). Southbound: Allow approximately 10-15 minutes extra travel time (4km queue).
At Macksville, traffic is heavy southbound on the Pacific Highway. Allow approximately 20-25 minutes extra travel time. 8km queues.
Near Hexham: Southbound traffic is heavy on the Pacific Highway approaching Masonite Road. Allow approximately 20 minutes extra travel time. 5km queues.
Closer to the Central Coast, and southbound traffic is queued up to 16kms on the M1 Pacific Motorway between Warnervale and Wyong due to an earlier accident Queues: Allow approximately 35 minutes extra travel time.
