A man has been held up at gunpoint on the Gold Coast overnight.
Police say around 7:30pm, the man was in the car park of a golf club in Carrara, when he was approached by another man who produced a handgun.
He demanded car keys and fled the scene in a dark blue BMW SUV.
The vehicle was last seen driving along Nerang-Broadbeach Road towards Nerang.
The victim was uninjured during the incident.
Police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist their inquiries. He is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall, of a slim build with short dark hair.
