20 year old Caitlin Moran from the Hunter is hoping to use Australia’s win at the Auckland Nines as motivation, after losing her debut against New Zealand in Newcastle.
“I was nervous as hell, but it was a massive accomplishment for me. Then recently coming back over from the Auckland Nines, that’s lifted me back up and I’m really excited to be in my second test match.”
The pint sized centre says she won’t be intimidated by the big hitting Kiwi forwards.
“If a big girl’s running at me, if I think I can stop her I know I can stop her. Size to me, I know I’m small but I’ll do what I can.”
