SUNSHINE FOR THE PEEL SCHOOLBOY RUGBY LEAGUE CARNIVAL

For the first time in four years, the Peel Schools Rugby League Carnival went off without a drop of rain.
Farrer Agricultural High School was the overall winner, taking out the under 13s, 14s and 16s boys divisions.
Teams from 10 secondary schools across the region took to the fields in what is the country’s longest running schoolboy rugby league carnival.
But it wasn’t just the boys hitting the ground running, with several girls league tag teams competing for the very first time.
