A man has been robbed at gunpoint near Lake Macquarie.
Around 5:30am, the 21-year-old was walking along Violet Town Road in Tingira Heights when he was approached by two men who allegedly threatened him with a firearm, stole his mobile phone, key cards and some personal property.
The pair then fled.
The victim was not injured.
Police would now like to speak to anyone who might have information regarding a small bronze/maroon coloured two-door vehicle seen in the area at the time of the incident.
