The home of one of Coffs Harbour’s best views could soon re-open, if only for a limited time.
Council has put the Deep Sea Fishing Club out for tender, almost a year since it closed down.
A spokesman said although council is the corporate manager of the state park in which the club sits, it couldn’t speculate on why the state government is only offering a 3 year lease on the facility.
Last month it was revealed council had been secretly briefed on state government concept plans for a massive re-development of the Jetty Foreshores which include high rise accommodation blocks east of Jordan Esplanade.
