Team New Zealand has earned a rematch with Team USA in the battle for the America’s Cup, after the Kiwis outclassed Artemis Racing in the Challenger Playoffs.
Race seven was initially abandoned when the wind died, but from the restart, Team New Zealand took control against the Swedish crew, featuring Australians Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen.
Outteridge says the US could be in trouble in the main event.
“I really hope that for the defenders sake they’ve improved boat speed because NZ have stepped it up and if Oracle haven’t improved over the past few weeks they’re going to have a run for their money there.”
