RATZ CONTINUE TO CLIMB UP THE LADDER
In Lower Mid North Coast Rugby Union, the Manning River Ratz have secured third spot on the ladder with a win against Gloucester on the weekend.
Between wet weather and long-weekend-byes it was the only game played across the region.
The Ratz coach saying results from the next two games will be make or break going into the finals.
“We’re sitting outright third and with Old Bar this week, hopefully we can get a win there and pull further away from the other three. The week after it’s Tea Gardens which will pretty much separate us where we finish…third or fourth,” said coach Jacob Maurirere.
Maurirere said Saturday’s team was the strongest to take the field this season.
A mostly unchanged squad will play Old Bar this Saturday.
