A new generation of RAAF fighter crews is progressing through training and today accomplished an important milestone.
They’ve completed their introductory course in Hawk Lead-In fighters and are ready to move up to FA-18s and Super Hornets.
Among the 8 pilots, the first female, to progress this far, along with two female weapons officers.
The next phase of training takes place at Williamtown, Tindall or Amberley.
