Australian rock legends Cold Chisel will headline the inaugural Newcastle 500 Supercar event in November this year.
It’s the first time the band has played in Newcastle since their Light The Nitro tour in 2011.
It’s anticipated the band will perform many iconic hits, as well as songs from their recent albums ‘No Plans’ and ‘The Perfect Crime’.
The band has a strong affinity with Newcastle, classic song Star Hotel inspired by the riots that erupted in Newcastle after the venue was shut down.
Cold Chisel will be supported by Spiderbait on the Saturday night at the inaugural event.
