Representatives of Harness Racing New South Wales are coming to Tamworth next week, to meet with local officials about track upgrades.
The sport’s governing body has committed $2 million to improve the Showground.
A development application is being put together, for a roof over the stables, and a new officials pod.
Two new local staff will also begin next week – including a promotions manager and track curator.
