DODT REMAINS IN THE SCOTTISH OPEN HUNT

Newcastle golfer Andrew Dodt remains firmly in the hunt at the Scottish Open, closing in on a dream start the British Open.

He’s in a share of second after two rounds, just one shot back from the leaders.

If he can hold onto that spot, he’ll line up at Royal Birkdale next week.

Dodt is at 8 under, Adam Scott is at 4 under, while Rory McIlroy again missed the cut – for the third time in four events.
