Drivers can rest easy as they travel between Tamworth and Gunnedah, with roadworks now complete.
It’s the second set of overtaking lanes on the Oxley Highway to be fixed, as part of a $60-million upgrade.
“It helps to promote driver safety and prevent drivers from taking unsafe manoeuvres. We know that overtaking lanes give drivers peace of mind,” Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson says.
Line marking will be finished in the coming weeks.
