Members of the UNE Lions rugby sevens training squad have one final chance to impress coaches on the playing field this weekend.
With spots in the National University Rugby Sevens series still on the line, the Armidale outfit hosts the Gold Coast’s Bond University on Saturday.
It may be the last trial match before the first tournament at the end of the month, but coaches aren’t concerned about the final score.
The 12-player squad will be announced at a training camp in two weeks.
