Tamworth police are on the hunt for a group of arsonists, that’s believed to have caused significant damage to a number of houses this week.
On Monday night, a residence at Green street was destroyed.
While on Tuesday, furniture outside the same building was set alight, as well as shade cloth attached to a Hardy Street home.
A garden shed and garbage bin were also targeted on Mathieson street.
“There’s a lot of danger when people are involved with playing with fire, and sooner or later we’re worried that a house with someone in it is going to be set alight.”
Police believe the culprits are a group of four or five people aged between 10 and 12 years-old.
