A bushfire warning has been issued for the state’s North Coast region today as strong winds sweep the area.
The New South Wales Fire Service is warning residents to prepare their properties with hot, dry and gusty winds forecast.
The fire warning level has been upgraded from very high to severe and it set to persist into the afternoon ahead of a cooler change tonight.
